Splitting axe or splitting maul ADLER with a head weight of 3000 grams, equipped with a hardened steel head, a hickory handle with a length of 90 cm, anti-slip grip and a steel handle protection. It comes with a sturdy leather protective cover, which can easily be placed over the axe head thanks to an elastic band.

The hardened steel head is smoothly polished and equipped with a sharp cutting edge. The wide head ensures that the wood splits easily. Thanks to the steel handle protection, the chance of damage in case of a missed strike is reduced. The anti-slip grip on the lower part of the handle ensures a good grip. The handle is made of hickory wood; this hard American wood species is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory wood is particularly tough, shock-resistant and resilient.
