Splitting axe or splitting maul ADLER with a head weight of 2800 grams, equipped with a wide wedge-shaped head, steel handle protection, an 80 cm hickory handle and a non-slip grip. Comes with a sturdy leather protective cover that can easily be placed over the axe head thanks to an elastic strap. Suitable for professional use. 

The hardened steel head is smoothly polished and fitted with a sharp cutting edge. The broad wedge-shaped head ensures the wood splits easily. The ergonomically shaped handle is comfortable to hold and provides a good grip thanks to the non-slip grip on the underside. Thanks to the steel handle protection, the risk of damage from missed strikes is reduced. The handle is made of hickory wood; this hard American wood species is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory wood is particularly tough, shock-resistant and resilient.
