The hardened steel head is smoothly polished and equipped with a sharp cutting edge, making it easy to chop logs, trees, branches, or roots. The ergonomically shaped handle feels comfortable in the hand and provides a good grip thanks to the non-slip grip at the bottom. Thanks to the steel handle protection, the risk of damage from a missed strike is reduced. The handle is made of hickory wood; this hard American wood species is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory wood is particularly tough, shock-resistant, and resilient.
