The FISKARS X36 splitting axe has a flared, thickened blade with a sharp cutting edge that makes splitting wood easy. A coating on the blade prevents rust and reduces friction, allowing the axe to pass smoothly through the wood. The axe head has a precisely ground edge and is double hardened, which keeps it sharp longer. The axe head and handle together form a strong connection that effortlessly absorbs the impacts during splitting.

The durable, lightweight FiberComp handle is very strong, virtually unbreakable and absorbs vibrations. Thanks to the shaped 3D design the axe sits comfortably in the hand and prevents twisting while splitting. The SoftGrip grip provides a secure hold and prevents the handle from slipping in the hand. The hook-shaped end of the handle offers a good grip and prevents the axe from sliding out of the hand. With the supplied protective cover the FIKSRAS axe can be transported and stored safely.
