Scoop shovel ATLAS DIAMANT Dutch model with socket position 3/4 bent and blade size 00 is supplied without handle. The hardened blade is blue lacquered and has a bright polished, sharp edge. This loose scoop shovel is compatible with a wide range of ATLAS Blijham handles, shovel handles, bats handles, bent or double-bent handles.
Explanation of socket mode
The socket angle indicates the angle relative to the blade. The higher the socket angle, the more slanted the socket is. This determines whether a shovel or spade is designed for stabbing or for scooping. The socket angle is measured from the ground to the socket when the blade lies flat on the ground.
Straight: the handle is almost straight with the blade.
1/4: the socket is bent up 35 mm, for example for digging shovels
1/2: the socket is bent up 55 mm, for example for scoop shovels and concrete shovels
3/4: the socket is bent up 70 cm, for example in scoop shovels and deep shovels
Explanation of blade width
In the past there were blade widths that ranged from number 2 down to 0, with 2 being the largest. Over time the blades had to be made smaller due to working conditions and smaller sizes were introduced.
