A Block paving hammer is used for aligning (shifting) paving. Optionally in combination with an alignment bar. This allows the stones to be aligned or shifted into the correct pattern. In addition, a Block paving hammer is used for tapping down machine-laid paving that has not yet been compacted.

Thanks to the long handle, work can be done upright, ensuring a more ergonomic working posture. The rubber grip offers good hold and reduces vibrations during striking.

The beveled side of the rubber striking block ensures that the Block paving hammer strikes the stone at an angle. This allows the user to remain more upright, which contributes to an ergonomic working posture.

If worn, the rubbers can be replaced.
