The hardened hammer head is manufactured from high-quality carbon steel and has a polished striking face. The handle is made of hickory wood; this hard American wood species is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory wood is particularly tough, shock-resistant and resilient.

Adler sledgehammers are available in various sizes and designs. With a hickory handle this hammer is also available in 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10 kilograms.
