Spade Spear & Jackson 1042AV, wide with fiberglass T-handle 78 cm. ATLAS cable, drainage spade, with round treads, polished blade, complete with a very strong fiberglass T-handle. Suitable for heavy use. The recognizable yellow handle has a number of specific features such as: the grip is covered with natural rubber, the handle has a thick 21 mm fiberglass reinforcement and is wrapped in special plastic. This plastic protects the fiberglass from damage (damaged fiberglass has hundreds of upright fibers and can cause wounds with infections). This handle is not completely rigid, but has a certain amount of resilience. Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is given against breakage of the mounted spade blade. If, unexpectedly, the handle or the blade needs to be replaced, they are available separately (handle item no. 211800 or 211802), (blade item no. 801041), (rivet item no. 651590).
