Wooden fencing maul, garden hammer or fencing maul ATLAS, round Frisian model of laminated ash wood, fitted with steel rings and side fittings, complete with oval ATLAS handle 100 cm in length. Head size 12.5 x 12 x 38 cm.

The fencing maul head is fitted on both sides with extra-heavy steel rings and side fittings. This makes the head of this fencing maul very strong. The oval shape of the handle ensures the maul head is always in the correct striking direction.

ATLAS fencing maul handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. Because of the re-drying the handle does not shrink and the head remains firmly attached to the handle. Subsequently the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful light natural colour. Waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters.
