Handle ATLAS 130 x 4.0 cm straight, for snow shovel sheet steel

ATLAS snow shovel handle made of ash wood, rectangular model with a length of 130 cm and a diameter of 4.0 cm. This handle is suitable for the straight snow shovel, Silt scraper or manure scraper ATLAS made of sheet steel (item numbers 960400 and 960405).

ATLAS concrete scraper handles are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, impact-resistant, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. Because of this re-drying, tools stay firmly attached to the handle.

Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with the plant-based Carnauba wax. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and preserves its beautiful natural color. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. Moreover, the plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
