Digging fork handle ATLAS 95 cm straight, with spring sleeve and through-mount T-grip, drilled
ATLAS digging fork or silage-fork handle made of ash wood, straight model with a length of 95 cm. Equipped with a spring ferrule, a drilled hole and a strong through-mount T-grip. Suitable for forks with a pin connection.
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process the sawn ash planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber controlled by computer. By re-drying the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.
Subsequently the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba wax. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful natural colour. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS digging fork handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands.
