Manure fork handle or prong handle ATLAS made of ash wood, bent model with a length of 85 cm. Fitted with a spring ferrule, a drilled hole and a strong through-mount T-grip. Suitable for forks with a pin connection.

ATLAS fork handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process the sawn ash planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. Because of the re-drying the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.

Next the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba wax. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful natural colour. Waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasant smooth handle, which prevents blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
