Pruning saw - Folding saw SILKY Super Accel Curve 210-8, bent saw blade

Folding saw SILKY Super Accel Curve, blade length 210 mm, saw capacity 105 mm, equipped with a bent saw blade with coarse tines: 8 tines per 30 mm, suitable for green wood. A bent blade cuts faster and more aggressively than a straight blade. For work above shoulder height a bent saw blade provides a better cutting angle and requires less effort.

The SILKY Super Accel is an ultra-light folding pull saw. This compact saw is easy to handle, even in denser vegetation. The bent blade of the Super Accel folding saw is chrome-plated and fitted with SILKY’s unique MIRAI-ME tines. The laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.3 mm, saw green wood quickly and easily. The saw blade is set at an angle of approximately 10 degrees relative to the handle. This reduces the force needed when sawing and decreases vibrations.

The aluminium handle is fitted with a rubber GOM grip, which absorbs vibrations and provides the user with a very good grip.

When folded, the saw is easy to transport and store. The locking knob ensures safety during sawing and storage. Using the notches on the top of the blade, the saw blade can be set in two positions.

The SILKY Super Accel pruning saw is also available with a straight blade.

Maintenance
To maintain good sawing performance and a longer lifespan, maintenance is important. After use, dry the saw and use olive oil to clean the blade. Olive oil dissolves resin residues and is environmentally friendly. Be careful with aggressive cleaning agents, as they can damage the handle. After cleaning, store the saw dry.

SILKY MIRAI-ME tines
The tines are ground into the blade with three cutting surfaces. This makes the blade surface and the cut extremely smooth. Because one in every few tines (depending on the type) is ground outward, sawdust is optimally cleared. This prevents the cut from clogging and allows you to saw smoothly. In pruning work, the smooth cut causes minimal damage and promotes quick healing of the pruning wound.

The patented MIRAI-ME tines configuration makes it possible to use the saw in 3 ways:
- crosscut (across the wood grain)
- rip (with the wood grain)
- diagonal cut (diagonally across the wood)
