Pruning saw SILKY Zübat 270-7.5, bent saw blade
Silky fixed bent pruning saw Zubat 270-7.5, including secure holster SILKY article number KSI327027 Blade length: 270 mm (up to ± 135 mm) Toothing: coarse (7.5 tines per 30 mm) The bent blade of the Zübat pruning saw is nickel coated and equipped with Silky's unique Mirai-Me tooth pattern. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm, cut fresh wood quickly and easily. For sawing between the knee and up to shoulder height a straight saw blade (Type Gomtaro) is recommended; for sawing below the knee and above shoulder height a bent blade (Type Zübat) is recommended. The rubber handle fits comfortably and securely in the hand and absorbs vibrations. The Zübat pruning saw is available in several lengths. All saws in the Zübat series come with a lightweight polypropylene holster with a detachable belt clip. The holster is designed so the saw cannot fall out, yet you can withdraw the saw in a single motion. The two rollers in the holster prevent the sharp tines from damaging the cover, and the bottom has a large opening to remove moisture and sawdust. You should clean the blade with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Slide the supplied cover over the cleaned blade and store the saw in a dry place. Tip: Keep a spare blade (item no. 1542845) nearby so you can continue sawing without interruption. The name Zübat originates from the sound a Samurai sword makes when it hits its target. Silky has been manufactured in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel.
