(SILKY item number KSI315424) Blade length: 240 mm (up to ± 120 mm) Tine spacing: coarse (8 tines per 30 mm) The straight blade of the Gomtaro tree root pruning saw is chrome-plated and features Silky's unique Mirai-Me tines. These laser-cut teeth, with a kerf of 1.3 mm, cut quickly and easily through fresh wood. Thanks to the double tooth hardening, the Gomtaro Root has exceptionally high wear resistance, even with frequent use in sandy or rough conditions. The saw blade is best cleaned with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Slide the included sheath over the cleaned saw blade and store the saw in a dry place. Silky has been manufactured in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel.
