Silky Gomtaro 240-8 root pruning saw, with straight blade measuring 24 cm in length and Mirai-Me teeth.

Thanks to the double hardening of the tines, the Gomtaro Root has very high wear resistance, even with frequent use in soil or sand.

The Silky Gomtaro 240-8 Root is a fixed pruning saw with a straight 24 cm blade, developed for cutting through tree roots in the ground. The straight blade is easy to guide precisely and allows controlled work close to the ground. The rubber GOM handle provides a secure grip and helps dampen vibrations while sawing.

The saw blade has a coarse 8 tines per 30 mm and is suitable for roots up to approximately 12 cm thick. The coarse tines engage quickly and remove sawdust and loose material efficiently. This also makes it suitable for work in more demanding conditions around a root ball. The coarse teeth remove a relatively large amount of material with each pull stroke, but can cause more vibration in dry and very hard wood.

The plastic holster has two guide rollers that protect the tines and prevent the saw from falling out. The open bottom of the holster allows moisture and sawdust to drain away. In addition, the Gomtaro holster has a detachable belt holder.
