Fixed pruning saw SILKY Tsurugi Curve, blade length 375 mm, saw capacity 188 mm, equipped with a bent saw blade with extra coarse toothing of 6.5 tines per 30 mm, suitable for fresh wood and dense vegetation. A bent blade saws faster and more aggressively than a straight blade. When working above shoulder height, a bent saw blade provides a good cutting angle and less effort.
The SILKY Tsurugi Curve is a lightweight pruning saw with a low back, making it highly suitable for pruning in dense vegetation and branches that are close together, without damaging other branches. The strong saw blade has high rigidity and extra coarse, razor-sharp tines, allowing a smooth cut to be made.
The bent blade of the Tsurugi Curve saw is chrome-plated and features SILKY’s unique MIRAI-ME toothing. The laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.7 mm, saw quickly and easily through fresh wood.
The Tsurugi pruning saw is equipped with a very comfortable GENKI handle. It has no bolts or screws, but consists of only two rubber parts that perfectly and safely enclose the steel. Because it contains no bolts or screws, the handle absorbs saw vibrations to the maximum, contributing to ergonomics. The GENKI handle provides a very good grip, even in wet conditions or when wearing gloves. In addition, no tools are needed to replace the saw blade.
The aluminium holster is designed so that the saw cannot fall out under any circumstances, yet can be pulled out with one hand. The holster is lightweight and can be mounted for both right- and left-handed users. The two rollers in the holster prevent the sharp tines from damaging the cover. The bottom is provided with a large opening for removing moisture and sawdust.

SILKY saws have been produced in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 Carbon metal.
MaintenanceTo maintain good sawing performance and a longer service life, maintenance is important. After use, dry the saw and use olive oil to clean the blade. Olive oil dissolves resin residues and is environmentally friendly. Be careful with aggressive cleaning agents, as they can damage the handle. After cleaning, store the saw in a dry place.
SILKY MIRAI-ME toothingThe tines are ground into the blade with 3 cutting surfaces. This makes the blade surface and cut extremely smooth. Because one out of every so many tines (depending on the type) is ground outward, sawdust is removed optimally. This prevents the cut from clogging and keeps sawing smooth. For pruning work, the smooth cut ensures minimal damage and quick recovery of the pruning wound.
The patented MIRAI-ME toothing makes it possible to use the saw in 3 ways:- crosscutting (perpendicular to the wood grain)- rip sawing (with the wood grain)- diagonally on the wood
