(SILKY article number KSI345030) Blade length: 300 mm (up to ± 150 mm) Tine pitch: coarse (8 tines per 30 mm) The narrow straight blade with a low back of the Tsurugi pruning saw is chrome-plated and equipped with Silky's unique Mirai-Me teeth. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.6 mm., cut quickly and, thanks to the shape of the narrow saw blade, easily between branches. The rubber handle fits comfortably and securely in the hand and absorbs vibrations. The Tsurugi pruning saw comes with a lightweight, aluminium holster with removable belt holder. The holster is designed so that the saw cannot fall out under any circumstances. At the same time, you can pull the saw out of the holster in one motion. The two rollers in the holster prevent the sharp tines from damaging the cover, and the bottom is equipped with a large opening for removing moisture and sawdust. You can best clean the saw blade with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Slide the included cover over the cleaned saw blade and store the saw in a dry place. The name Tsurugi is derived from a double-edged Japanese sword that was used in ancient times. Silky has been manufactured in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel.
