Polesaw SILKY Hayate 6100-6.5 4-piece, extendable 245 - 610 cm, saw blade 42 cm

Silky Hayate 6100-6.5 polesaw with 4-piece telescopic pole extendable from 245 to 610 cm, complete with a 42 cm saw blade featuring Mirai-Me teeth.

The Hayate has a heavier construction than the Hayauchi, making this telescopic polesaw even more robust. The Hayate is therefore somewhat heavier, but still easy to handle.

The Silky Hayate 7700-6.5 is a four-piece polesaw with an extendable length of 245 to 610 cm. The robust, oval aluminium pole reduces flexing and gives more control over the direction of the saw blade. Push buttons and clamping levers lock the set length in place. The lower pole section is fitted with a rubber coating for extra grip, even in wet conditions.

The bent 42 cm saw blade is made of high-alloy Japanese steel and has a kerf of 1.7 mm wide. The extra coarse Mirai-Me teeth count 6.5 tines per 30 mm. The non-set, multi-sided ground teeth cut quickly and remove sawdust efficiently. This tooth pattern is suitable for thick, fresh, and moisture-retaining wood. In dry wood, the coarse teeth engage less easily and more vibration may occur.

The nickel coating protects the blade against wear and rust. The upper sickle keeps the saw in the cut and can tear off small branches. The removable lower sickle cuts into the bark, so when the branch falls it is less likely to tear along the trunk. The tines can be sharpened with a file.
