Silky Hayate 5000-6.5 polesaw with 3-piece telescopic handle, extendable from 240 to 500 cm, complete with 42 cm saw blade featuring Mirai-Me tooth pattern.

The Hayate has a heavier construction than the Hayauchi, making this telescopic polesaw even more robust. The Hayate is therefore somewhat heavier, but still easy to handle.

The Silky Hayate 7700-6.5 is a three-piece polesaw with an extendable length of 240 to 500 cm. The robust, oval aluminium handle limits flexing and gives more control over the direction of the saw blade. Push buttons and clamp levers lock the set length. The lower handle section is fitted with a rubber coating for extra grip, even in wet conditions.

The bent saw blade of 42 cm is made of high-alloy Japanese steel and has a kerf of 1.7 mm wide. The extra coarse Mirai-Me tooth pattern has 6.5 tines per 30 mm. The unset, multi-sided ground tines cut quickly and clear sawdust well. This tooth pattern is suitable for thick, fresh, and moisture-retaining wood. In dry wood, the coarse tines engage less easily and more vibration can occur.

The nickel coating protects the blade against wear and rust formation. The upper hook keeps the saw in the kerf and can pull off small branches. The detachable lower hook scores the bark, so when the branch falls it is less likely to tear away along the trunk. The tines are fileable.

After use, clean and dry the blade and handle sections. Remove resin with a resin remover or olive oil. Check the mounting screws regularly to ensure safe working.
