FISKARS Log Splitter or Wood Splitter, length 96 cm, weight 6 kilos, equipped with a 4 cm wide chisel and striking mechanism.
The FISKARS Wood Splitter consists of a stainless steel tube with a movable inner tube inside it. This inner tube has a weight that exerts force on the wedge at the bottom of the Wood Splitter. By moving the tube downward with force, the wood is split with little effort.
Method of operation
Place the FISKARS Wood Splitter on a log. Hold the upper handle with one hand and the lower handle with the other. By lifting the upper hand and letting it come down, the weight exerts force on the log. Repeat until the log is split.
The FISKARS Wood Splitter has a safety pin to lock the mechanism during transport and storage. This must be removed before use.
