Telescopic tree pruner FISKARS PowerGear UPX86 telescopic 240 - 400 cm, pruning height approx. 6.5 m

The Fiskars PowerGear UPX86 is a telescopic tree pruner with an adjustable length of 240 to 400 cm. In combination with the user, it provides a pruning height of approximately 6 to 6.5 meters, making higher branches reachable from the ground. The tree pruner has a cutting capacity of up to Ø 32 mm and is intended for cutting fresh, green wood.*

The pruning head can rotate up to 230° and can be locked in different positions. This allows the cutting angle to be adjusted to the position of the branch. The orange cutting support provides better visibility of the cutting position, which helps especially when pruning at height and makes it possible to work more precisely.

The PowerGear X gearing increases cutting power, allowing thicker branches to be cut with less effort. The bypass pruning mechanism works with an upper blade made of hardened precision steel with PTFE coating and a lower blade made of hardened stainless steel. This combination reduces friction and supports a clean cut.

The telescopic handle is made of lightweight aluminium and equipped with SoftGrip grips and a non-slip end. The UPX86 weighs approximately 1.9 kg and can be combined with an adapter for a pruning saw and with a fruit picker. This makes the same telescopic base more versatile for pruning and harvesting work at height.

*Pruning capacity up to a maximum of 32 mm for fresh and living wood, not thicker branches. Also take into account the hardness of the wood. Allow for a smaller pruning capacity with hard wood types such as oak, acacia, beech, and fruit trees.
