Bahco hardpoint pruning saw with upper and lower sickle

Bahco pruning saw 385-6T with a bent saw blade 36 cm long, equipped with a steel tube handle, upper and lower sickle, and sharpenable hardpoint tines.

The Bahco 385-6T pruning saw has a bent 36 cm blade with 6 tines per inch. The tines are resharpenable, allowing the saw to be sharpened again as it wears. The extended hook point or upper sickle prevents the blade from slipping out of the cut while sawing.

Between the saw blade and the steel tube handle is a pull knife or lower sickle. This can be used to score the bark on the underside of the branch before the branch is sawn through, helping to reduce tearing of the bark.

The steel tube handle also serves as an adapter for mounting on a Ø 25 mm extension pole. The saw fits, among others, Bahco telescopic poles AP-3M and AP-5M.
