The forged fully round dutch hoe is sharpened all around, allowing the hoe to easily cut through all types of weeds. Hoeing also loosens the soil, which improves the soil structure. All dutch hoes from De Wit are forged from pure hardened steel. The dutch hoe has a self-sharpening tapered blade that allows for long use. The hoe handle is coated with wax to prevent blisters on your hands.
