Wood splitter FISKARS X-Series L, up to approx. 120 mm, including protective cover

Wood splitter or kindling maker FISKARS X-Series Large, for logs up to approx. 120 mm, is supplied including blade guard, mounting hardware and protective cover.

The FISKARS Wood Splitter is equipped with a sharp blade made of hardened carbon steel, suitable for splitting kindling and firewood. The supplied plastic protective cover protects the blade during storage or transport. The blade can be easily removed with 4 bolts for sharpening or replacement. The vibration and noise dampers on the blade increase user comfort.

To hold the logs firmly in place, the top ring is equipped with integrated brushes. Thanks to the brushes, a log is prevented from tipping over and splitting is easy without holding the log by hand. This enables safe working.

The ring on the underside provides stable placement on the ground. If desired, the FISKARS Wood Splitter can be mounted in a fixed position or to a block with the supplied screws.

Included is a multifunctional protective cover for transporting, storing and protecting the FISKARS Wood Splitter. It can also be used as a bag for moving or transporting ready-made kindling.

For splitting wood with the FISKARS X-Series L Wood Splitter, a stoning hammer or club hammer weighing approx. 2000 grams is recommended. These are available in various versions with either a wooden or a fiber handle.
