This strong forged spade is also called a trench spade or drainage spade. The spade is ideal for digging a narrow trench for, for example, underground cable, irrigation, or drainage. Thanks to the slightly pointed blade, the spade easily penetrates the soil. Because of the length of the blade, the trench can be made sufficiently deep with ease, so that cables and pipes are at a safe depth.

The blade has a sharp polished edge. This means less resistance while digging and less soil sticking to the blade. The large round tread prevents damage to footwear during digging. Due to the round shape of the tread, it never catches on anything.

Thanks to the strong Ecofiber, the handle hardly bends, if at all, when force is applied during use. In addition, the Ecofiber handle has a comfortably smooth finish, so it feels good in the hand.

Ecofiber is made from bamboo. Through a special resin bonding of narrow strips of bamboo, the material has extremely strong and durable properties. Unlike wood, it has no vulnerable grain.
