Golf rake - bunker rake JOST black with 16 short tines and levelling strip, with ATLAS handle 170 x 2.8 cm
A golf rake or bunker rake for raking bunkers on a golf course.
JOST golf rake or bunker rake in black with 16 short tines, levelling strip and grip with hanging eye, width 65 cm, complete with ATLAS handle, length 170 cm and diameter 2.8 cm. The tines have a length of 4 cm.
This poly rake is specially made for raking bunkers on a golf course. After a golfer has hit the ball out of the bunker, the bunker rake is used to rake the sand level again. Footprints and irregularities from the shot thus do not form an obstacle for the next player. Thanks to the short tines, the sand is not raked unnecessarily deep and the underlying layer is not loosened. If desired, the levelling strip on the top side can be used for an extra smooth finish.
The JOST Bunker rake is lightweight and has strong, short tines. The double bracket forms a sturdy unit with the socket (handle connection). Because the JOST Golf rake is completely finished in plastic, it is rustproof and therefore has a long service life.
The plastic handgrip at the end of the handle provides a comfortable hold. Thanks to the hanging eye, the Bunker rake can be easily hung.
Because of the shorter tines, the JOST Golfrake can also be used for lawn installation and maintenance. The shorter tines only work the top layer, leaving the subsoil intact and stable.
JOST rakes are available in various sizes and versions. Both with and without a handle.
Why rake a bunker with the Bunker rake?
This concerns golf course etiquette. When a golf ball ends up in a bunker, walking and hitting disturb the surface. A following player can suffer unnecessary disadvantage from this. Therefore it is desirable, and often even required, to leave the sand in the bunker tidy after playing. This ensures an equal chance to play, prevents delays for fellow golfers, and demonstrates sportsmanship.
When raking the bunker, enter from the low side. Marks from swings and footsteps should be smoothed out with straight strokes. Do not pull sand toward the bunker edge to prevent undercutting. Work back toward the low side of the bunker and place the Bunker rake on its designated holder after use.
