The 4 cm thick handle provides a good grip and feels comfortable in the hand. The ASH ATLAS handle is made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood has been computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. As a result, the handle does not shrink and tools remain firmly attached to the handle. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba, which ensures a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping to prevent blisters.
