The fencing maul head is fitted on both sides with strong steel rings. This makes the head of this fencing maul very strong. Due to the oval shape of the handle, the maul head is always in the correct orientation for striking.
ATLAS fencing maul handles are made from ash wood butt sections, which contain the best timber. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. By re-drying, the handle does not shrink and the head remains firmly fixed to the handle. Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful light natural colour. Waxing also extends the lifespan and gives a pleasantly smooth handle, preventing blisters.
