Manure fork handle ATLAS 85 cm, for fork with forged tines, T-grip

ATLAS manure fork handle or prong handle made of ash wood, straight model with a length of 85 cm, equipped with a T-grip. Suitable for forks with forged tangs. For mounting two 50 mm rivets are recommended (article number 651620, including mounting advice).

ATLAS fork handles are made from ash butt logs, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. By re-drying the handle does not shrink, and tools remain firmly attached to the handle.

Subsequently the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural pale color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
