Wood splitter FISKARS X-Series for wall mounting, including cleaver knife

FISKARS X-Series log splitter for wall mounting, suitable for splitting logs from 180 mm to 370 mm long or cutting branches up to 30 mm in diameter. Supplied complete with mounting hardware and FISKARS XA3 hatchet with SoftGrip™ handle.

The strong carbon steel wall bracket is mounted in a vertical position with the included screws. The FISKARS XA3 hatchet is attached at the top with a locking knob. The knob is easy to operate, so the hatchet can be removed from the wall bracket and used separately. After use, the safety latch holds the hatchet in place in the closed position.

Logs are placed diagonally on one of the four hooks at the desired height. The grip surface on the hooks ensures the log is held securely in place during use. By pulling the hatchet downward, the log is split.

Branches are cut in the upper round opening of the wall bracket. The serrated surface keeps branches firmly in place during cutting.

The included FISKARS XA3 hatchet has a strong carbon steel blade with a sharp edge. The slightly bent shape of the blade provides better grip on the wood and a smooth cutting motion. The long FiberComp™ handle creates leverage, making splitting and cutting easier. The non-slip SoftGrip™ handle ensures a comfortable hand position and a secure grip.
