Ring for DE WIT sediment dredge or ditch hook
Ring for attaching a ditch hook, ditch rake or a sediment dredge to a long pole or ditch hook handle.
Sediment Dredge Assembly
Slide the ring over the handle. Then slide the bracket with the pin into the notch of the ring. Check that the scraper plate points forward and that the net can hang to the rear. Also check that both the bracket and the ring are firmly in place.
Drill straight through the handle with a 6 mm wood bit at a low speed. Clear the drill hole of chips and sawdust. Insert a carriage bolt through the drill hole, with the head and square shank on the wood. Secure the carriage bolt with a nut and tighten until the bolt head is snug, without bending the washer.
