Saw blade for Silky Gomtaro Root 240-8. (SILKY article number KSI315424) Blade length: 240 mm (up to ± 120 mm) Toothing: coarse (8 tines per 30 mm) The straight blade of the Gomtaro root pruning saw is chrome-plated and equipped with Silky's unique Mirai-Me toothing. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.3 mm, cut fresh wood quickly and easily. Thanks to the double tine hardening, the Gomtaro Root has particularly high wear resistance, even with frequent use in sandy or rough conditions. It's best to clean the saw blade with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil and this is therefore an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting capacity. Slide the supplied sheath over the cleaned saw blade and store the saw in a dry place. Silky has been produced in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel.
