Forged DENCKER brush hook or edging scythe for right-handed use (the tip points to the left). The scythe has a length of 60 cm and is fitted with a straight flat tang. Supplied with a sharp cutting edge. Suitable for professional use.
A brush hook has a relatively straight blade with a slightly bent tip. This type of scythe is used for mowing and cutting out reeds, grass and regrowth on slopes, banks and in the water.
By combining the brush hook with a long pole or ditch hook handle, reed and other vegetation can be cut far out into the water. Long poles and ditch hook handles are available in various lengths.
