The FISKARS X24 splitting axe has a wide, tapering, thickened blade with a sharp cutting edge that makes splitting wood easy. A coating on the blade prevents rust and reduces friction, allowing the axe to glide smoothly through the wood. The axe head has a precisely ground cutting edge and is double-hardened, so it stays sharp longer. The axe head and handle form a strong connection that effortlessly absorbs the impacts during splitting.

The durable lightweight FiberComp handle is very strong, virtually unbreakable and absorbs vibrations. Thanks to the molded 3D design, the axe sits comfortably in the hand and prevents twisting while splitting. The SoftGrip handle provides a secure hold and prevents the handle from slipping in the hand. The hooked end of the handle ensures a good grip and keeps the axe from slipping out of the hand. With the supplied protective sheath, the FIKSRAS axe can be transported and stored safely.
