Saw blade SILKY 420-6.5 Hayate complete with sheath, socket and undersickle
Blade complete with cover and socket for Silky pole saw Hayate. (SILKY article number KZSI177399N). The 420 mm long bent blade of the Hayate features Silky's unique Mirai-Me tooth pattern. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.7 mm, provide substantial wood removal so you can easily and very quickly saw through the thickest branches without the saw getting stuck. The saw blade is chrome-plated, flexible, and only the razor-sharp tines are impulse-hardened. Two blades (sickles) together ensure an optimal pruning result. With the lower blade you cut into the bark so it does not tear away along the trunk when the branch falls. The upper blade prevents the saw from coming out of the cut. And with this upper blade you can easily cut twigs off the trunk or use it to pull small (dead) branches out of the tree. The name Hayate is a traditional Japanese name meaning 'hard wind'. That's exactly how this saw moves through the trees! Pruning from a distance calls for a reliable and versatile saw. Silky saws are used worldwide by professionals and by quality enthusiasts. Manufactured in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel.
