Thanks to its straight front, the ATLAS DIAMANT concrete shovel is used for leveling or evenly skimming a sand bed or cunet. Because of the rounded corners, this concrete shovel easily scoops from a wheelbarrow, trailer or big bag.
The ASH ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood has been computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. As a result the handle does not shrink and the tool remains firmly fixed to the handle.
ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This causes the wood grain or fiber in the handle to bend along and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong.
