Concrete shovel ATLAS DIAMANT with socket position 1/2 bent up, blade size 0 and straight edge with rounded corners. Supplied without handle.
Thanks to the straight front, the ATLAS DIAMANT Concrete Shovel is used for levelling or skimming off a sand bed or trench. Because of the rounded corners, this concrete shovel easily scoops from a wheelbarrow, trailer or big bag.
Explanation of socket position
The socket angle indicates the angle relative to the blade. The higher the socket angle, the more tilted the socket is. This determines whether a shovel or spade is designed for stabbing into the ground or for scooping. The socket angle is measured from the ground to the socket, with the blade lying flat on the ground.
Straight: the handle is almost straight on the blade.
the socket is bent up 35 mm, for example for digging shovels
1/2: the socket is bent up 55 mm, for example for scoop shovels and concrete shovels
3/4: the socket is bent up 70 cm, for example on scoop shovels and deep shovels
Explanation of blade width
In the past there were blade widths that ranged from number 2 down to 0, with 2 being the largest. Over time the blades had to be made smaller because of working conditions, and smaller size specifications were introduced.
