This compact pickaroon is ideal for one-handed use. A pickaroon or logging pike pole is used for lifting or transporting logs, turning logs or arranging wood stacks. The sharpened point of the forged head is bent downward, giving it a secure hold in the wood.
The ergonomically shaped handle offers a comfortable hand position and good grip thanks to the anti-slip grip on the underside. The handle is made of hickory wood; this hard American wood species is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory wood is particularly tough, shock-resistant and resilient.
There is also an ADLER pickaroon available in a longer length (item number 940625). This pickaroon can be used perfectly in combination with the ADLER axes from our range.
