Tree root spade or saw spade ATLAS fitted with a flat step and sharp tines on both sides, blade size 38 x 14 cm, complete with ATLAS shovel handle 100 cm long.
The tapered blade of the tree root spade is fitted on both sides with sharp serrations for cutting roots. Thanks to the tapered shape of the blade, the tree root spade easily penetrates the soil. Because of the step on the upper side of the blade, footwear is not damaged during work.
Due to the blade's cutting action, the tree root spade or Polygator is ideal for uprooting and transplanting perennials, shrubs and trees.
The ASH ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood has been re-dried in a computer-controlled climate chamber. As a result the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples. ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This allows the wood grain or fiber in the handle to bend with it and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba, which provides a longer lifespan and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters.
