Manure fork handle or prong handle ATLAS of ash wood, bent model with a length of 100 cm, provided with a spring ferrule, a drilled hole and a T-grip. Suitable for forks with a pin connection.
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash wood rootstocks; these contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. By re-drying the handle does not shrink, and tools remain firmly attached to the handle.
Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. The waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, thereby preventing blisters. Moreover, waxing handles with plant-based wax is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS manure fork handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and configurations.
