ATLAS club hammer or stoning hammer with a weight of 2000 grams, fitted with a hickory handle 28 cm long. The strong hammer head is manufactured from extra hardened carbon steel and has a smooth, polished striking face. This hammer meets the DIN 6475 standard.
The handle of the ATLAS stoning hammer is made of hickory. Hickory is a heavy, hard American wood species that is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory wood is particularly tough, shock-resistant and resilient. The ATLAS hickory handle is also waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful light natural color. Due to the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always in the correct striking orientation.
