DE WIT-Kabelspaten mit ATLAS Fiberglas T-stiel. Blatt 9 x 31 cm. Gesamtlänge 127 cm
Narrow DE WIT drainage spade with fiberglass T-handle and natural rubber grip.
Drainage spade De Wit, complete with a fiberglass T-handle 88 cm long, fitted with a narrow, rounded blade with a blade size of 9 x 32 cm.
This strong forged spade is also called a trenching spade, drainagespade or trench graver. The spade is ideal for digging a narrow trench for, for example, fiber optic cable, underground cable, irrigation or drainage. The blade is only 9 cm wide so a narrow trench can be dug. Thanks to the rounded shape and the length of the blade, the trench can easily be made deep enough so that cables and pipes lie at a safe depth.
In addition, this narrow spade is also very suitable for a wide range of planting tasks. The half‑round 9 cm wide blade is ideal for smaller pot sizes such as P9. Whether standing or kneeling, planting holes are made quickly and easily.
The distinctive yellow handle has a thick 16 mm fiberglass reinforcement and is surrounded by special plastic. This plastic protects the fiberglass from damage (damaged fiberglass can produce hundreds of upright fibres that can cause wounds which may become infected). For a comfortable grip, the grip is covered with natural rubber. The handle is not completely rigid, but has a certain desirable degree of springiness. Because the handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no guarantee is given for breakage of the mounted spade blade.
This drainage spade is also available with an ash wood handle (article number 810448).
