Cable shovel or deep shovel ATLAS, 16 cm wide, 3/4 bent up, provided with a straight underside. The extra hardened blade is black lacquered. This cable shovel is supplied without handle.
Thanks to the narrow shape and the high up-bent socket, a cable shovel is ideal for scooping out trenches. Useful when laying fiber-optic, irrigation or underground cables. ATLAS DIAMANT cable shovels are popular with, among others, civil engineering and infrastructure companies, pavers, landscapers and the construction industry.
A cable shovel is also called a banana shovel.

Explanation of socket setting
The socket angle indicates the angle relative to the blade. The higher the socket angle, the more inclined the socket is. This determines whether a shovel or spade is designed for stabbing or for scooping. The socket angle is measured from the ground to the socket when the blade lies flat on the ground.
Straight: the handle is almost straight relative to the blade.
1/4: the socket is bent up 35 mm, for example for digging shovels
1/2: the socket is bent up 55 mm, for example for scoop shovels and concrete shovels
3/4: the socket is bent 70cm, for example on scoop shovels and deep shovels
