Cable shovel or deep shovel ATLAS DIAMANT in width 16 cm, 3/4 bent, featuring a pointed underside, round treads and non-stick coating. Complete with bent ATLAS handle in length 130 cm.

The extra hardened blade is blue lacquered and has a bright polished, sharp cutting edge. Thanks to the step, footwear is not damaged. Because of the non-stick coating, soil and sand release more easily from the blade. The pointed shape of the cable shovel reduces resistance, making digging easy.

The ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash wood butt sections, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. This prevents the handle from shrinking, keeps tools firmly attached to the handle and allows the through-mount T-grip to be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples. ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This causes the wood grain in the handle to bend as well and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba, which ensures a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, preventing blisters.

Explanation of socket angle
The socket angle indicates the angle relative to the blade. The higher the socket angle, the more slanted the socket is. This determines whether a spade or shovel is designed for digging or scooping. The socket angle is measured from the ground to the socket, when the blade lies flat on the ground.

Straight: the handle stands almost straight on the blade
1/4: the socket is bent up 35 mm, for example for digging shovels
1/2: the socket is bent up 55 mm, for example for scoop shovels and concrete shovels
3/4: the socket is bent up 70 cm, for example for scoop shovels and deep shovels
