Digging fork handle or prong handle ATLAS of ash wood, straight model with a length of 50 cm, fitted with a T-grip. Suitable for a De Wit 3-tine digging fork with forged-on springs.

ATLAS fork handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process sawn ash planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. Because of the re-drying the handle does not shrink, and tools remain firmly attached to the handle.

Next the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful natural color. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters. Furthermore, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.

ATLAS fork handles are manufactured completely energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and versions.
