(SILKY article number KSI327030) Blade length: 300 mm (to ± 150 mm) Toothing: coarse (7.5 tines per 30 mm) The bent blade of the Zübat pruning saw is nickel-coated and equipped with Silky's unique Mirai-Me toothing. These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm, saw fresh wood quickly and easily. For sawing between the knee and up to shoulder height a straight blade (Type Gomtaro) is recommended; for sawing below the knee and from shoulder height a bent blade (Type Zübat) is recommended. The rubber handle sits comfortably and securely in the hand and absorbs vibrations. The Zübat pruning saw is available in multiple lengths. All saws in the Zübat series come with a lightweight polypropylene holster with a removable belt holder. The holster is designed so that the saw cannot fall out of it. Yet you can pull the saw out in one single motion. The two rollers in the holster prevent the sharp tines from damaging the sheath, and the bottom is fitted with a large opening for removing moisture and sawdust. You should clean the blade with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and maintain cutting performance. Slide the supplied cover over the cleaned blade and store the saw in a dry place. Tip: Keep a spare blade (art. no. 1542865) nearby so you can continue sawing easily. The name Zübat comes from the sound a Samurai sword makes when it strikes its target. Silky has been produced in Japan since 1919 from high-quality SK-4 carbon steel.
