Wooden fencing maul, garden hammer or fencing maul ATLAS, bent model made of ash wood, complete with round ATLAS handle, length 100 cm. Head dimensions 12 x 12 x 32.5 cm. The fencing maul head is fitted with steel bands on both sides, which provide extra sturdiness during striking.
ATLAS fencing maul handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. By re-drying, the handle does not shrink and the head remains firmly fixed to the handle. The ATLAS handle is then waxed with plant-based carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and keeps its attractive pale colour. The waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters.
