Manure fork handle or tine handle ATLAS of ash wood, straight model with a length of 95 cm, fitted with a strong through-mount T-grip. Suitable for forks with forged-on springs. For mounting, two 50 mm rivets are recommended (article number 651620, including assembly advice).

ATLAS fork handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process the sawn ash planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber controlled by computer. By re-drying the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.

Next the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful natural light colour. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, which prevents blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
