These laser-cut tines, with a kerf of 1.4 mm, cut fresh wood quickly and easily. For cutting between knee and shoulder height a straight blade (Type Gomtaro) is recommended; for cutting below the knee and from shoulder height a bent blade (Type Zübat) is recommended. The rubber handle sits comfortably and securely in the hand and absorbs vibrations. The Gomtaro pruning saw is available in several lengths. All saws from the Gomtaro series come with a lightweight polypropylene holster with a removable belt clip. The holster is designed so the saw cannot fall out, yet you can withdraw the saw in a single motion. The two rollers in the holster prevent the sharp tines from damaging the cover, and the bottom has a large opening for removing moisture and sawdust. The best way to clean the saw blade is with olive oil. Resin dissolves in olive oil, making this an effective and environmentally friendly way to clean the blade and preserve cutting performance. Slide the supplied cover over the cleaned blade and store the saw in a dry place. Tip: Keep a spare blade nearby so you can keep sawing without interruption.
